(c) In this Privacy Policy (the Privacy Policy ), we inform you about

(ii) for which purpose we process such personal data,
(iii) which third parties we share such personal data with and
(iv) the data protection rights you are entitled to by law.
2. PERSONAL DATA IN THE COURSE OF USING ARPLACE
2.1 Data and information provided by you
(a) We collect the content and other information you provide when you use our products, including, but not limited to:
(i) the registration for an arplace account:
You have the option to register for our services. By registering, you consent to the collection, storage and processing by us of the personal data entered by you in the course of this registration, as well as your IP address, the date and time of registration.
(ii)sharing content on arplace:
This involves collecting information about the content you provide or the information it contains (e.g. metadata), including in particular location data, movement patterns and the date of your activities. This also includes data on how you use the arplace functions, so that we can, for example, suggest functions or products that you might like or give you tips. Our systems automatically process content you provide to analyse the context and details contained within them for the purposes described below.
(b) We also collect information about how and which services you use, including data about the type of content you view, the features you use, the actions you take, and the time, frequency and duration of your activities.
(c) We also collect information about others’ activities and information they provide about you. We also receive and analyse content and information that others provide when they use our products. This may include information about you.
(d) Device information
(i) As described below, we collect information from and about the computer(s), phone(s), and other internet-connected device(s) you use that integrate with our products to customise your experience in arplace.
(ii) The information we receive from these devices includes:
(A) Device attributes: Information such as the operating system, hardware and software versions, battery level, signal strength, available memory and browser type;
(B) Operations on the device: Information about the operations and activities performed on the device, for example, crash logs, launch time, hang rate or energy use to improve and further develop the arplace application;
(C) Identifiers: Unique identifiers, device IDs and other identifiers, such as those of games, apps or accounts you use, and family device IDs (or other identifiers);
(D) Data from device settings: Information that you allow us to obtain through the device settings you have enabled, such as access to your location data, camera, microphone or photos; and
(E) Network and connections: Information such as language, time zone, IP address or connection speed.
3. PURPOSES FOR THE PROCESSING AND USE OF YOUR DATA
(a) We process the personal data provided to us through your registration for internal purposes. The processing of your personal data enables us to offer you content or services that can only be offered to registered users.
(b) We process the personal data that we have received or generated from you within the scope of our business relationship (e.g. name, address, email address, telephone number) for the fulfilment of our contractual obligations towards you as well as for the implementation of pre-contractual measures that take place on your initiative, in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR .
(c) We process all data provided by you and collected by us about you ( your information ) to operate arplace and all its features and to provide you with a user experience in accordance with our values and policies (see the [insert link to Terms of Use]). We are constantly working to improve the experience within arplace and use the information you provide and we collect to do so.
(d) As part of this, we use your information to combat harmful behaviour and to detect or prevent negative experiences or breaches of our policies and values, for the benefit of all users.
(e) We use your information to personalise your user experience by evaluating your preferences, activities and location data. The information we collect and learn from you and others, including any personal information you provide for which you have given explicit consent to use, helps us to do this.
(f) We use location-based information – such as your current location, where you live, the places you like to visit, and the businesses and people near you – to provide and improve our products, including advertisements, to you and others. Location-based information may be based on things like your exact device location (if you have allowed us to collect it), IP addresses, and information from your and others’ use of our services (such as places you have visited or events you have attended).
(g) We use your information to help our partners optimise their services by using statistical analysis to help us better understand groups of people who use their services and their usage habits.
(h) Furthermore, we will contact you on the basis of your information.
4. SHARING OF YOUR DATA
(a) We will not disclose your personal data to uninvolved third parties except as expressly provided in this Privacy Policy or in any other agreement entered into between us, and except to the extent necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations to you or to comply with mandatory legal or regulatory requirements.
(b) We do not sell personal data in a de-anonymised form or pass it on to uninvolved third parties without good reason (e.g. in the event of a cyber attack on our services, we provide law enforcement authorities with the information they need to prosecute the case).
(c) Your information will be shared with the following categories of recipients:
(i) Your personal data is also processed by our service providers on our behalf. These service providers are marketing tool providers, IT providers and providers of other tools, software solutions and similar services.
(ii) People and arplace accounts with whom you share content receive this information that you share with them.
(iii) We share your information with our external partners who help us provide and improve our products. In doing so, they process your personal data on our behalf. We ensure compliance with data protection regulations and have concluded agreements with these external partners to ensure that your personal data is treated confidentially and carefully.
(iv) We provide anonymised analyses of your information to third parties, companies that use arplace as part of their business model or other users in order to improve their products and services and their business model.
(v) We provide advertisers with reports on user groups who see their ads and the success of their ads; personal data is not shared unless you explicitly allow us to do so.
(d) We do not disclose any personal data to recipients in third countries.
5. COOKIES
(a) In order to provide you with user-friendly services, we use cookies (small text files) on our website. These contain an identifier that enables visited websites and servers to distinguish your individual browser from other internet browsers.
(b) You can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time using the appropriate setting on your internet browser and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Furthermore, you can delete cookies that have already been set at any time via your internet browser or other software programmes. If you deactivate the setting of cookies in your internet browser, it may not be possible to use all the functions of arplace.
(c) arplace also collects a range of anonymous data and information, which is stored separately from your personal data in so-called log files (e.g. browser type, operating system, the website from which you accessed arplace, date and time of your access, IP address and Internet provider).
(d) We need this data and information in order to (i) correctly display the content of arplace, (ii) optimise the content of arplace as well as the advertising for you, (iii) ensure the functionality of arplace as well as (iv) to provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for prosecution in the event of a cyber attack on our website. For this purpose, we also evaluate this data and information statistically. This data and information is therefore processed to protect our legitimate interests.

6. CONTACT THROUGH YOU

7. HOSTING SERVICES
(a) The hosting services used by us serve to provide the following services: Infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space and database services, security services and technical maintenance services, which we use for the purpose of operating the arplace services.
(b) In doing so, we or our hosting provider process inventory data, contact data, content data, contract data, usage data, meta data and communication data of customers, interested parties and visitors of the services of arplace on the basis of our legitimate interests in an efficient and secure provision of the services of arplace.
8. TRANSFERRING YOUR INFORMATION TO A NEW OWNER
If the ownership or power of all or part of our products or their assets changes, we may transfer your information to the new owner.
9. DURATION OF STORAGE AND DELETION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We store your personal data for as long as we need it to fulfil the aforementioned purposes and our contractual and legal obligations. When we no longer need your personal data, we delete it from our systems or make it anonymous so that you can no longer be identified. Exceptions exist in cases where we have a duty to retain data.
